Prices and Calendar 2009

Listed below are the prices for the two apartments during the 2009 season. Despite the change in Euro/Sterling exchange rate we are holding our prices at last year's level.

Note: Payments can be made in either Euros (French cheques or direct deposit to our French bank) or Sterling.

Holiday Packages

All of the holidays below include the following:-

·         Exclusive use of the either or both apartments of the Gîte La Verrerie. Garden shared only with other apartment.

·         Bed linen and towels

·         Kitchen linen and cleaning materials

·         Use of all games equipment, barbeques etc

·         All electricity for the week

·         Internet access

The package does not include:-

·         Travel to and from France (e.g. Flights, ferries, trains, taxis)

·         Travel insurance or specific personal belongings and injury insurance

·         Fuel for fires

Holidays run from Saturday to Saturday. Arrivals from 4:00pm and departure by noon.

(Note – cleaning takes place between 1pm and 6pm on Saturday, if you arrive promptly at 4pm please bear with us whilst we make the apartment ready for you!)

1 - Euro rate based on exchange rate and may change from time to time. Euros accepted by cheque drawn on a French bank or by bank transfer directly to our Credit Agricole account.

General Letting Conditions

At the end of the letting period the Gîte must be left in the same state as found. If you require a cleaning service one can be made available to you at the tariff rate shown in the sundry items price list above.

La Verrerie welcomes both well behaved cats and dogs, but we would ask that you do not allow them to climb onto the beds or furniture. Dogs are welcome all over the Auvergne so we would ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in the Gîte.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by personal cheque or bankers draft in sterling or euros, or by bank transfer direct to our account.

A reservation is made once a booking form, together with a deposit of 25%, has been received from you and the booking is confirmed in writing.  Provisional bookings made by email, fax or telephone can be held for 14 days, pending receipt of a completed booking form.

Deposits paid are not refundable.  The balance of your holiday is payable  six weeks prior to your holiday start date and will be advised by us when we confirm your booking.  Unless notice of cancellation is received prior to the balance payment date, balance monies will remain due and payable.  It is your responsibility to take out travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

If you are making a late booking, less than two months before your arrival date, the full amount of the holiday should be sent with the booking form.

If La Verrerie Holidays needs to cancel a holiday for any reason, a full refund of the amount paid by you will be made, however no further liability can be accepted by La Verrerie Holidays.

La Verrerie Holidays cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, or for personal accident or injury. For all holidays a suitable insurance policy must be obtained prior to travel. 

A damage deposit of €50 will be taken at the beginning of your holiday to cover breakages and damage. This will be refunded in full at the end of your holiday subject to agreement between La Verrerie Holidays and yourself that no damage or breakage has occurred.

Terms of Occupancy

The La Verrerie Gîte caters for number of guests four (each gite) or eight (if renting both).  The total number of people staying in the Gîte must not exceed this, and use of the gite may not be passed on to a third party. If you wish transfer your booking to someone else please contact us.

Cancellations

All cancellations instigated by you must be sent via registered mail.

If you cancel prior to the payment of the balance then the deposit is forfeit

If you cancel after payment of the balance then the total payment is forfeit pending re-letting. Should the property be re-let for the same period, the balance payment less the deposit will be refunded.

Non-payment of the balance by the due date will be treated as a cancellation unless a prior written agreement between La Verrerie Holidays and you exists. If no such agreement is in place then the above clauses take precedence.
